Acceleration Selection

The RXV 2025+ offers four distinct acceleration profiles, allowing you to customize how quickly your cart responds to throttle input. This is one of the most impactful settings for driving feel.

How to Adjust:
  1. Press the Parameter button (top left) until "Acceleration" appears on screen
  2. Press the Adjust button to cycle through the four levels (Gentle → Medium → Fast → Aggressive)
  3. Click "Flash" to save your selection

Acceleration Levels:

0 - GENTLE Gentle Acceleration

Smooth, gradual acceleration. Ideal for passengers or cautious driving.

1 - MEDIUM Medium Acceleration

Balanced acceleration. Good for everyday use and mixed terrain.

2 - FAST Fast Acceleration

Quick response. More spirited driving without being harsh.

3 - AGGRESSIVE Aggressive Acceleration

Maximum acceleration. Sports-car-like throttle response.

Pro Tip: Most users prefer Fast (2) or Aggressive (3) settings for the best performance experience. Start with Medium and work your way up to find your preferred feel.
Consider Your Passengers: Aggressive acceleration can surprise unprepared passengers. Choose Gentle or Medium when carrying children or elderly passengers for a smoother ride.
7

Deceleration Selection

Deceleration control determines how aggressively the cart slows down when you release the accelerator. The RXV 2025+ offers four deceleration profiles to match your driving style.

How to Adjust:
  1. Press the Parameter button (top left) until "Deceleration" appears on screen
  2. Press the Adjust button to cycle through the four levels (Coast → Mild → Firm → Stout)
  3. Click "Flash" to save your selection

Deceleration Levels:

0 - COAST Coast Deceleration

Minimal braking. Cart coasts freely when throttle released.

1 - MILD Mild Deceleration

Light regenerative braking. Gentle slowdown with energy recovery.

2 - FIRM Firm Deceleration

Moderate braking. Noticeable slowdown with good energy recovery.

3 - STOUT Stout Deceleration

Strong braking. Aggressive slowdown with maximum energy recovery.

How It Works: Higher deceleration settings use regenerative braking to convert kinetic energy back into battery charge. This extends range while providing a "one-pedal driving" feel similar to modern electric vehicles.
Pairing with Acceleration: For the best driving experience, match your deceleration to your acceleration setting:
  • Gentle Accel + Coast/Mild Decel = Smooth, relaxed driving
  • Medium Accel + Mild/Firm Decel = Balanced everyday driving
  • Fast/Aggressive Accel + Firm/Stout Decel = Sporty, responsive driving
Range Impact: Stout deceleration provides the most energy recovery and can extend your range by 10-15%. However, it may feel too aggressive for some drivers. Experiment to find your preferred balance between range and comfort.
8

ECO Mode

ECO Mode is an energy conservation feature that optimizes the cart's performance for maximum range and efficiency.

How to Toggle: Click the ECO Mode button to view the current setting (ON or OFF), then click again to toggle. Click "Flash" to save your selection.
OFF ECO Mode OFF

Full performance mode - maximum power and acceleration

ON ECO Mode ON

Energy saving mode - extended range with reduced power

What ECO Mode Does:

  • Reduces top speed by approximately 15-20% to conserve energy
  • Softens acceleration for smoother, more efficient power delivery
  • Optimizes motor efficiency to extend battery range
  • Increases regenerative braking to recover more energy
Range Extension: ECO Mode can extend your range by 20-30% depending on terrain and driving style. This is ideal for longer trips or when you're concerned about battery level.
When to Use ECO Mode:
  • Long trips where range is a concern
  • Flat terrain where maximum power isn't needed
  • Casual neighborhood driving
  • When battery level is getting low
Not Recommended For: Hilly terrain or situations where you need full power. The reduced performance in ECO Mode may make steep hills challenging.
9

Reverse Buzzer Control

The reverse buzzer (backup beeper) can be enabled or disabled based on your preference for quiet operation or safety awareness.

How to Toggle: Click the Buzzer button to view the current setting (ON or OFF), then click again to toggle. Click "Flash" to save your selection.
OFF Buzzer OFF

Silent reverse operation - no warning sound

ON Buzzer ON

Audible warning when reversing - safety alert

Popular for Residential Use: Many users prefer to disable the buzzer for quiet operation in residential neighborhoods, especially during early morning or evening hours.
Safety Reminder: The reverse buzzer provides an audible warning to pedestrians and other vehicles when you're backing up. When disabled, you must exercise increased caution and awareness when reversing, especially in crowded areas or around children and pets.
10

Smart Regenerative Braking

Smart Regenerative Braking is an advanced feature exclusive to the RXV 2025+ that intelligently manages energy recovery during braking and deceleration.

How to Adjust:
  1. Press the Parameter button (top left) until "Smart Regen" appears on screen
  2. Press the Adjust button to toggle between OFF and ON
  3. Click "Flash" to save your selection
OFF Smart Regen OFF

Standard regenerative braking based on deceleration setting

ON Smart Regen ON

Intelligent energy recovery optimized for terrain and speed

How Smart Regen Works:

When enabled, Smart Regenerative Braking uses advanced algorithms to:

  • Analyze terrain - Detects uphill/downhill and adjusts braking accordingly
  • Monitor speed - Optimizes energy recovery based on current velocity
  • Predict braking needs - Anticipates stops and maximizes energy capture
  • Balance comfort - Provides smooth deceleration while maximizing range
Range Benefits: Smart Regen can increase your range by an additional 5-10% beyond standard regenerative braking. On hilly terrain, the benefits are even more pronounced, potentially adding 15-20% to your range.
Especially Effective On Hills: Smart Regen truly shines on hilly terrain. Going downhill, it automatically increases regenerative braking to capture more energy while preventing excessive speed buildup. This means less wear on your mechanical brakes and more energy returned to your batteries.
Best Practice: Most users keep Smart Regen enabled at all times. It works seamlessly in the background to maximize efficiency without requiring any input from the driver. The system adapts to your driving style over time for optimal performance.
Interaction with Deceleration Setting: Smart Regen works in conjunction with your selected Deceleration level. It enhances the base deceleration setting rather than replacing it. For maximum range, pair Smart Regen ON with Firm or Stout deceleration.
