Troubleshooting

1. Confirm the vehicle you are working on is a 2013-2024 E-Z-GO RXV with the Curtis Controller. The Kraken Programmer will not work for any other vehicle.

2. Ensure vehicle is powered on. You MUST have power to controller in order for this device to turn on and tune.

3. Check that the cable is fully seated into the top of the Kraken device. The latch of the connector should look flat.

4. Check vehicle diagnostic port for damage or corrosion. If any corrosion is visible, you are likely not getting a solid connection.

5. If all of the above are deemed clear, connect an OEM Curtis 1313 handheld programmer to vehicle and ensure that functions normally.

6. If you've tried all of the above, contact us for a replacement and/or help as your device may be defective.
