Important Warranty Terms
Warranty Period Start Date
The warranty period begins on the date of original purchase as shown on your order confirmation or receipt. For warranty purposes, the purchase date on file with Axle Core Industries (KRAKEN Programmer) is considered authoritative.
Warranty Transfer
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. If you sell or give away your KRAKEN Programmer, the warranty does not transfer to the new owner.
Replacement Units
Replacement units provided under warranty may be new or refurbished. Refurbished units meet the same quality standards as new units and are fully tested. Replacement units are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for the KRAKEN Programmer. Axle Core Industries is not liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
Modifications to Warranty
Axle Core Industries reserves the right to modify warranty terms for future products. Changes do not affect warranties on products already purchased. Current warranty terms apply to each product as of its purchase date.
Warranty FAQs
How long is the warranty period?
The KRAKEN Programmer includes a 1-year (12-month) limited hardware warranty from the date of purchase.
What if my device fails after the warranty expires?
After the warranty period, repairs or replacements are available for a fee. Contact our support team for out-of-warranty service options and pricing.
Does the warranty cover firmware updates?
Yes! Firmware updates are provided free of charge throughout the life of your device, even after the hardware warranty expires. Updates include bug fixes, improvements, and new features.
What if I bought my KRAKEN from a reseller?
Warranty coverage requires proof of purchase from an authorized seller. Units purchased from unauthorized resellers or secondhand may not be eligible for warranty coverage.
Will opening the device void my warranty?
Yes. Opening, disassembling, or tampering with the KRAKEN Programmer in any way immediately voids all warranty coverage. Do not remove seals or attempt repairs.
How long does the warranty claim process take?
We typically respond to claims within 24-48 hours. Once approved, repair or replacement usually takes 5-10 business days depending on the issue and parts availability.
Do I need to register my product?
No registration is required. Your warranty is automatically activated at the time of purchase and tracked through your order number.
What if I lost my receipt?
Contact us with any information you have (email address, name, approximate purchase date). We can look up your order in our system to verify warranty eligibility.
